David Kepron, a retail design, merchandising and branding consultant, will deliver the keynote speech at the 2014 Digital Signage Expo (DSE) in February at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

In a presentation titled ‘Creating Engaging Experiences in a Digitally Distracted World,’ Kepron will explain how digital signage, mobile devices and emerging technologies are all changing the way retailers, restaurateurs, hoteliers and other business entities need to communicate with their customers, balancing the medium with the message. He will also discuss how people are more actively participating in modifying their own media experience, which creates new opportunities for digital messaging to affect decision making.

“David’s ability to see larger concepts in design have been recognized by the display industry,” says Richard Lebovitz, editorial and education director for ExpoNation, which produces DSE. “His perspectives will give our attendees the opportunity to envision the digital signage systems most conducive to engagement.”
