Toronto-based Sign House has installed a classic-series computer numerical control (CNC) router from MultiCam Canada, as it continues to expand from its roots in sign installation services to add in-house sign manufacturing capabilities.

Sign House decided to purchase the 1.5 x 3-m (5 x 10-ft) cutting table, which can reportedly reach speeds up to 21.6 m (850 in.) per minute, for the cutting of acrylic and aluminum channel letters. As a result, the company will be able to machine large sheets of material at significantly faster speeds than with comparable manual techniques, leading to shorter turnaround times for its customers.
