1. For the holiday retail season, Cadillac Fairview (CF) has introduced new, festive decor elements to its 20 shopping centres across the country, including oversized floor pieces and, reportedly, Canada’s first interactive kinetic light sculpture.
2. The global digital signage market was valued at nearly $17 billion U.S. in 2015 and should top $27 billion U.S. by 2022, experiencing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.7 per cent, according to a new report from research firm MarketsandMarkets.
3. The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) has unveiled its plans for a public art exhibition that will honour the city’s 375th anniversary next year, along with the 50th anniversary of Expo 67 and the 150th anniversary of Canada.
4. Alberta’s Green Transit Incentives Program (GTRIP) is being bolstered by the federal government’s Public Transit Infrastructure Fund (PTIF) and municipal programs to support new digital signs and other transit projects across the province.
