1. Lifetime Developments has unveiled Love Liberty and Hustle, two new public murals by Ben Johnston in the galleria of the Liberty Market Building (LMB), which was one of the first adaptive reuse projects in Toronto’s Liberty Village.
2. Winnipeg-based electronics integrator Advance Pro recently developed a portable video wall system for Farmer’s Edge, which provides hardware, software and agronomy systems for precision farming, so it could bring large-scale digital signage along to trade shows.
3. Health-care communications company Information Display Systems (IDS) Canada is using Signagelive’s system-on-a-chip (SoC) software for its newly expanded digital signage network in more than 200 waiting rooms across the country.
4. Quebec’s government has proposed regulations requiring the incorporation of a “sufficient presence of French” on signs bearing trademarks in English or other languages.
5. Toronto-based out-of-home (OOH) advertising firm Cieslok Media has launched a double-sided digital billboard in Mirabel, Que., along Autoroute 15, a major throughway connecting the north and south shore suburbs of Montreal.
