1. Clear Channel Outdoor Americas has installed 19 new digital signs at key pre-security points throughout Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, including the arrivals hall, ticketing areas and the exterior.

2. The Beer Store, an Ontario retailer owned by brewers, has selected Cineplex Digital Media to replace static displays of its offerings with Pricing Information Centre (PIC) free-standing interactive kiosks.

3. The Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada (OMAC) has announced a half-day OOH conference, which will be held in Montreal on October 18. 

4. Global shipments of digital signs for public display are expected to grow by 9.3 per cent this year and associated revenue will increase by 15.3 per cent, according to the latest research from IHS Technology.

5. Ad agency Zulo Alpha Kilo won the top prize in Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport’s (BBTCA’s) creative competition with a hopscotch-themed out-of-home (OOH) ad concept for ParticiPaction.
