Materials/Methods: A custom system had to be designed to suspend three decommissioned ski lifts—loaded with dressed mannequins and merchandise—from the ceiling of the store. Two electrical winches were mounted to structural steel beams in the ceiling, from which steel cables and eye bolts were connected to each of the lifts. The clothing and gear are changed out seasonally, with hiking products and bikes attached in the spring and summer.
