During his residency, the artist has translated and examined more than 700 letters and artifacts from his late mother, Suk-Fong Wong, using them as a source of inspiration to realize workshops, performances, and artworks in photography, video, and sculpture including this neon work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
A neon artwork by Canadian artist Paul Wong honouring the history of Cantonese migrants now illuminates 475 Main St., in Vancouver. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":38,"featured_media":42136,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[3,17,3875,19,18],"tags":[4363,4587,3763,4472],"class_list":["post-42134","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-illuminated-signs","category-top-trending","category-neon","category-installations","tag-artwork","tag-illuminated-signage","tag-neon","tag-neon-sign","entry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.8 -
