Similar to the Versa UV LEF series, the LEF2-200 can print full-colour graphics and unique textures, including premium finishes such as simulated embossing, onto a range of materials and objects up to 100 mm (3.94 in.) thick. The new flatbed printer features improvements, which make it easier to decorate objects from smartphone covers and plaques to giftware and personalized products.

A start timer function automatically completes printhead cleaning setup and white ink circulation by the user’s designated start time, while a positioning jig aligns items on the print table. For greater efficiency and convenience, the printer adopts a new cleaning system that maximizes reliability and reduces ink consumption during maintenance procedures. A head refresher feature removes any ink remaining on the printheads and cleans the printhead surface. The printer is also equipped with an airtight cover, which prevents dust from settling onto the surface of materials while printing.

Its VersaWorks 6 software features a new Harlequin dual core engine for faster previewing times and improved handling of Portable Document Format (PDF) and Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) files with drop-shadows and transparencies. The software also allows users to automatically generate a white, gloss, or primer layer directly in the raster image processor (RIP), which makes it easier to incorporate textural and dimensional effects.

“With its added features, this flatbed enhances UV printing efficiency, productivity, and convenience,” said the company’s UV printers product manager, Jay Roberts. “The LEF2’s capabilities, along with the ECO-UV inks that cure instantly and stretch around corners and curves, make customizing or personalizing fairly simple. Plus, enhancing CMYK graphics with premium gloss and matte finishes, white ink, or multiple layers of clear ink to create simulated 3D embossing, has become much easier than before.”

California-based wide-format inkjet printer provider Roland DGA Corp., recently launched its VersaUV LEF2-200 508 mm (20 in.) benchtop ultraviolet (UV) flatbed printer.

[3,107,61,37,3875,75,39,9,53
1042,409,4050
post-38390","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-product-spotlight","category-digital-printing","category-wide-format-printed-graphics","category-top-trending","category-inks","category-new-products","category-software-digital-signage","category-specialty-inks-wide-format-printed-graphics","tag-flatbed-printers","tag-roland-dga","tag-uv-printing","entry

<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.8 -
